Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Snack Signal account and personal data at any time. You don’t need the app installed to make the request.

How to request deletion

• In the app: open the app → Profile tab → Delete account, then confirm. Deletion of the records below happens immediately.
• By email: write to privacy@snacksignal.com from the address on your account (or tell us the account email) with the subject “Delete my account.”

We’ll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data tied to it, including:

• your account (email and role) and any Google or Apple sign-in link;
• your saved home location and alert preferences;
• the vendors you follow;
• your signals (request pins), their history, and timestamps;
• your orders (preorders placed from a vendor’s menu) and their history;
• ratings and notes you’ve posted (removed or stripped of anything identifying you);
• craving requests you’ve submitted;
• your device push tokens;
• for vendors, your business profile, menu, truck photo, and shift history/location breadcrumbs.

What we may keep

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it — for example, to meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Anything we keep is held only as long as that purpose requires, then deleted. Aggregate, de-identified statistics that can’t be linked back to you may be retained.
